Neurokids Center provides comprehensive and multidisciplinary psychological and neuropsychological services for children, adolescents, and young adult patients in whom impairments of cognitive or neuropsychological, emotional, or behavioral functioning is suspected or evident.

What is Pediatric Psychology?
Pediatric Psychology is a multidisciplinary field of both scientific research and clinical practice that addresses the range of physical and psychological development, health, and illness issues affecting children, adolescents and their families in a pediatric health setting.
Common areas of training include psychosocial development, environmental factors which contribute to the development of a disorder, outcomes of children with medical conditions, treating the co-morbid behavioral and emotional components of illness and injury, and promoting proper health behaviors, developmental disabilities, educating psychologists and other health professionals on the psychological aspects of pediatric conditions, and advocating for public policy that promotes children’s health.
Pediatric Neuropsychology
Pediatric Neuropsychologists are clinical psychologists who have specialty training in understanding learning and behavior in relationship to a child or adolescent’s brain functioning. A neuropsychological evaluation assists in better understanding a child’s functioning in areas such as attention, memory, executive function, processing speed, reasoning, perception, coordination, and language.
